Hello, everybody

I want to convert several movies from my DVD collection for use on my MP3 player that supports AVI. However, player seems to support only videos that are 24fps. Thus, I need to convert a framerate.

Could you please suggest how to make such convertion (hopefully using AviSynth)?

Thanks,
Irakli

Well, with 25->24FPS your best bet is simply using AssumeFPS(24) (or 23.976 as that would be the exact frame rate for film) and either resampling the audio to match or using TimeStretch on it.

np: Contriva - Seaside (If You Had Stayed...)

Yeah, changing the speed losslessly is probably your best bet. If you really don't want to speed up the film, you can use MVFlowFPS.

Maybe it's just me, but going from 25 to 24 FPS is "slowing down" in my book... :p

np: Masha Qrella - All She Feels Instead (Vocal Mix) (Luck)

Thanks for replies

I made some tests with short clips and slowing down seems to be good option for me.

:thanks:
