Hi,

I'm trying to convert my HD-DVD EVO file (main movie) to MKV.

I read the thread with the explanation in the forum but I have a problem with GDSMux.

So I managed to convert the VC1 stream to into TS container, but after I load it to GDSMux, chose the location of the output file and hit Start nothing happens, I just get a mkv file which weights 9.40KB.

The same happens when I try to mux in into mkv directly via dsmux.

What can I do ?

Thank you.

hm I also remember having had this once with muxing a h264 .ts stream to .mkv with gdsmux. but cant tell any more which stream it was or when it did occur -.-

I'm having the same problem - I'm trying to convert a TS file with VC1/DTS/AC3 to MKV, no error message pops up but the resulting file is only about 5.6KiB in size.

I was unable to get rid of it...

hm afaik I got it working by just muxing the video alone. when remembering correctly there it wont work with additional audio in the .evo. you have to demux the audio seperately and add it to another mux with mkvmerge. at least thats what I experienced for VC-1 files so far.
