DVR-RB or Not?

I have a capture that I have authored the files and it is DVD compliant and plays fine in MP clasic. I built/burt to DVD with imgBurn since there was no need for compression.

Here is the question, would running it through DVD-RB and HCenc 21 LUMGAIN 2 improve on my quality even if I am using no filters, or is it never going to be better than the source?

In short no. Re-encoding is almost always not go to help with quality. If you were re-encoding to apply filters... that can sometimes improve the quality.

If it is already DVD compliant and fits on a DVD5... why mess with it?
