OK I'm at my wits end here trying to get Rebuilder to work on Vista 32. I've googled the above and re-registered the MSCOMCTL as outlined here I've uninstalled and deleted the RBPRo folder I've ran in compatability mode and I've ran as administrator but keep getting the not correctly registered error, I've downloaded new versions of the OCX but no good. So I've tried everything that I can find about this issue but no solution, could someone help me on this.
Thanks

Right click on the the DVD-RB icon and run as admin
I've tried that both on the icon and the program exe in the rebuilder folder.
Thanks

Look in the executable directory. There should be a copy of that OCX installed with DVD-RB. I had one other user report this -- but he then further reported it went away when he reinstalled Vista.
Do you get any error messages when you try to register it?

No when I register the OCX is says it was successful. Should the OCX file be anywhere else besides the Rebuilder folder in a Vista installation? Is it somehow referenced in the Vista registry? Thanks for your help

Try turning off the UAC (User Account Control) feature in the Security Center and reinstalling Rebuilder.
It gave me some problems with another app. so I just turned the bloody thing off and the problem was solved.
My system is secure enough that I don't need nor want the UAC feature anyway.
Go to Control Panel...Security Center...UAC, in Vista Home Premium.

Hi
Yes I had UAC turned off still no joy, tried re-regestering the MSCOM in the system32 folder it succeeded but still getting same error after re-installing the latest re-builder.
Thanks

Going to re-install Vista now but seems to me to be defeating the purpose and hope I don't have to do this again.
