I'm having trouble loading a Quiktime DV-PAL (25fps) clip with DirectShowSource. I get the following error message:
"The source filter for this file could not be loaded"
I have the DV codec installed and I can play the clip fine on QT player but when I try loading that clip with Qtreader() the picture I get looks very blocky, horrible.
Thanks,

same problem that I had, I think you should use FFmpegSource instead, or find (like I'm doing without success) a mov splitter.
Let me know if you found one

Have you tried QT Source (http://anonym.to/?http://www.tateu.net/software/dl.php%3Ff%3DQTSource) ?
I used it some time ago with Qt DV-PAL files without any problem. If you have any problems with blocky video, try adding the quality=100 parameter.

Indeed, it's a very useful plugin, if a bit incomplete for output (no audio). Tateu is a great guy! Tying QuickTime to AviSynth is a big step.
