ac3 playback: ac3filter or ffdshow?

What filter should i use for ac3 playback with MPC?

I tried both ac3filter and ffdshow and i think ffdshow is quite better but i am not an audio expert, can you give me an opinion?

In ffdshow ac3 decoding settings i dont know if i have to ceck normalization ad what is the "right" amplification level (500%?)

My opinion (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1007985#post1007985)about play normalization.

Between Ac3Filter and ffdshow I prefer ffdshow but, for only ac3, Ac3Filter can do the job also.
