Hello,

I upgraded my DiVX codec from 6.2 to 6.6.1. The encoding parameters (bitrate, etc) have remained the same to the best of my knowledge. Ever since then, the image looks jagged and has interlacing artifacts. How can this be fixed or is this a known problem with version 6.6.1 of the DiVX codec?

Thanks

What about applying a good deinterlacing filter, such as Yadif or TDeint, before encoding your video?
In case you want to keep it interlaced, make sure you encode in "interlaced" mode - if DivX has such a mode.
