Hey.

Tried to mux a x264 video with two aac audio-lines, chapters and subtitles (idx/sub). but after the muxing has complete, the file seems to run 13hrs. any ideas?

Tools:

megui (video & audio)
vsrip (subtitles)
MP4Box & Yamb (muxing)

did you set the correct framerate?
are you sure you didnt choose appending instead of muxing the streams?

ok.. i have come bit closer...

when muxing with mkvmerge all is fine... BUT it gives me a warning:

"Warning: vobsub_reader: 'C:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.idx', line 1073: The line seems to be a subtitle entry but the timecode was negative even after adding the track delay. Negative timecodes are not supported in Matroska. This entry will be skipped."

So it seems to be something with the subtitle files...

any clue?

I had that issue too. When you don't include the subs the file will have the correct lenght. I guess it is a vobsub issue, possibly in connection with megui, but it doesn't happen with all sources. I never investigated any further since I normally use subrip and only played around with the vobsubs for testing.
