creating partial d2v file

TMPGEnc crashed before the end of encoding a d2v file.
Can I cut the initial d2v or create a new d2v file containing just the end of the film (i.e beginning at a precise frame number), so that I just have to encode the missing part of the film with TMPG ??

I don't think so. I believe dvd2avi is only accurate to the GOP level.

However, you should be able to set the frame range in TMpg to encode only the part you want. Not sure how well joining the two encodes together will be, but you can only try it and see.
