Transfering Recorded TV?

Hi there i wondered if you guys could help me out, I would like to know if it is possiable to get shows which i have recorded off of my Virgin TV box and onto my computer?

recorded onto a v+ box? no cant be done :)

Could you use an analog route? Take the analog outputs from the box and capture them via an analog capture card? (If there are any protection signals, they can sometimes be stripped). For viewing on a PC, you probably won't see any quality differences between analog and digital.

Oh ok thanks :) I just wondering, So since you cant do that how would i record tv then onto my computer??

get a cheap capture card and hook up the scart lead to the audio/video on and use the software :)

if you use HD then the scarts wont work! but you can transfer it using the settings in extras (if i recall right)

if you use scart, you can capture the easy way
