Hi
Really stuck! Been googling solid for 48 hours (near enough).
I have 7GB WMV HD with 5.1 sound (about 2hours long) which I wish to compress down to fit on a normal DVD.
I have been able, with Windows Media Encoder to split the video and audio out and compress the video without issue.
I have tried loading the audio into Audition but the audio truncates at 55minutes.
I have used Foobar to create a 32bit floating WAVe file to then try to split into separate wavs using BeSweet. Foobar created the WAVe file fine (about 9GB as expected) which will play back in Foobar, but not in WMP.
When I try to load the file into BeSweet to split into 6 separate WAVes i just get the message Error 58. Unknown Input File Format. I am using the command:
BeSweet -core ( -input "c:\6ch.wav" -ouput "c:\mono.wav" -6chfloat)
Any suggstionsas to what is wrong, or a better wav of doing it? (I am converting the WMV to XVid/ AC3 contained in MKV)
