I think you don't need to do something wrong. In one of my last rips of 2CD I couldn't reach my desired filesize because only going a few kbps up or down I obtained 1.2G or 1.4G I couldn't obtain 1.3 that is what I wanted.
Do some test going the kbps down. Or use little noise filtering in Gknot before resizing or lower resolution but I advice you to use filtering before going lower tha 608xXXX.
Good Luck

Also you should RIP Audio files SEPARATLY, so you can load in
GKnot Exact size for Audio file. Files that i made with Gknot
2-pass are +- 10mb of desired size. If you make audio files
within Gknot you could NEVER know what size will it be exactly.

Well actually i've ripped the audio file and normalized it [a3cdec for ripping the audio, normalizer for making sound louder] but it's really amazing cause with the bitrate calculator that i've use i asked for a 2 cd version [About 1300Meg] and it gived me a 2gig ....... mmmm strange ...
Anyway's if someone has an answer ... POST IT !! :)
Thanx ...:D
