Combining files

Is it possible to take say 1 nero digital and add another to it to make 1 file? I have a dvd with a tv series on it, but when I recode it makes like 5 different files. I would like to make it so I have 1 big file with all the seasons on it. Also I was thinking maybe merge the DVD VOBs as one big VOB and then recode it, but not sure if that can be done or what software to use.

MEncoder can do such things

mencoder 1.vob 2.vob 3.vob -ovc copy -oac copy -o full.vob

if you have more than 2 audio channels in the VOBs you can specify it with the -channels x option (where x is the number of channels)
