Numpty question re: Merging two AVis using AVIDemux

Morning, all - does anyone know of a link to an FAQ or something similar that will show me how to merge two AVIs using AVIDemux 2.4 R3475 ?

I'm sure it's dead simple, but it doesn't seem particularly intuitive at first glance. Also, when I unzipped the .zip, I have two .exes AVIDEMUX2_GTK and AVIDEMUX2_QT4 - which one should I be running, and why?

I just found the FAQ at the top of the screen which andwered my question about the EXEs - just need to wise up on the merging now..!

Load the first video.
Append the second video using File -> Append.
Save the result using File -> Save.
