I am having serious problems doing a rebuild on the movie "The Number 23" NTSC, It's an infiniflm disc that has lots of advanced navigation stuff to access the bonus features thoughout. Because it has multiple versions, theatrical, unrated, and infiniflm versions the dvd appears to be pulling the content from multiple different sources and stitching it together depending on what has been selected. The think rebuilder is getitng confused, through the movie it is getting very pixilated blips between some scene changes. I had this problem in the past with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre part 3 as well. Any idea of what do to do process these types of discs. Any program we should preprocess prior to pulling it into rebuilder.

Sounds like interleaved/seamless brached material. Sometimes the mux is quite bad on the originals, by the way (I saw this on Deja Vu) or your player can't handle ILVUs well. Of course, it could be an inferior burn. Make sure your media is good.
AFAIK, DVDB has no issues with ILVU whatsoever. If you only want one version, then you can remove the seamless branching with IfoEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/IfoEdit) or DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php).

I'll pick that disc up and give it a test run tonight. I haven't had any reports of ILVU issues in a long time. Any special settings or preprocessing? Are you using the Professional Edition or the Freeware (there's a big difference in how they handle ILVU)?
[Note: I'm pretty sure you're a VIP user -- but just checking.

You didn't, by chance, have redistribution enabled during the encode, did you? I'll have to look and make confirm I've locked that out (I'm pretty sure I have, but I'll check again).

I backed up the NTSC R1 version of this disc with DVD-RB Version 1.26.2 and suprisingly the quality looked pretty good considering the large amount of extras. Pretty low overall bitrate..i think around 2600 - 2700kbps for the main VTS. No problems with playback and the " Infinifilm " features worked fine.
