Is there a story behind the smiling orange you use in the program and your replies in the forum?

If I remember right you are from England, a strange place for an orange.

Thanks,
Mark

Nope, there isn't any particular story behind the simling Orange, I found it somewhere on the net and I found it funny well, I just adopted it as my icon.

BTW, I'm not from England. If you look at my email address you should get an idea of where I'm from.

Sorry if saying you were from England was a bad thing.
Now that I look at the email you are obviously not from uk,
but I am not up on your country code. I think I know what country
that is, but I am not certain. I will figure it out eventually.

Thanks,
Mark

It is the place where Quantum Mechanics grew up. In Portuguese, its name is "Dinamarca".

I think you did DVD2SVCD, you took a vacation there, thus markb's confusion.

I only said that about England because most people have very strong feelings of patriotism towards their own country.
Especially Europeans that are so close to each other. See England hates France and France hates England (oh sorry everyone hates France) Just kidding.
Actually I met several people from France and even they hated France or more accurately Paris. They felt that the people in Paris had a superiority complex (not my words).

Remember I am a dumb American that has only ever been to Canada.

despite the large use of Hamiltonian mathematical formalism in quantum mechanics, his main contribution is found in Classical Mechanics. I was talking about Niels Bohr and the well known (at least for physicists) "Copenhagen's School".

heheh good one, Mozart.

But if we do end up making global knowledge quiz's, maybe the ones who said "europa" (europe?) may be the ones proving themselves that ignorance is NOT a virtue.

Long live culture. In all forums! :P

btw: any of those who pointed europeans to be too patriots actually has the IQ bigger than the shoe size in order to translate "Dinamarca"? :)

Some USA guys dont even know to make currency translations with kms/miles.. oh, and Euros. :)

europe forever.
