i have a pc (intel c2d 2.8 mhz, 2gb ram, bfg 7900gs oc) but im running into a problem playing evo files. i got some evo files on my drive, used evodemux to get one audio and one video and then remixed it to a single 17gb file. when i try to play this in power dvd 6.5 it skips and makes crazy audio noise. i can and have played 1080p mkv, i know different codec but same resolution. any ideas on something im missing or settings etc. thanks for any help.

Did you do the "Read XPL" by any chance? Doing this screws up the stream list, and you end up with two video and audio streams in the rebuilt evo.

Read in your EVOs, select the audio/video stream and options and start the the rebuild without doing a "Read XPL"
