Ok guys. I'm kinda new with this and I have a question. I'm using subrip 1.50 b4 for ripping the subtitles of some music clips in .vob format. But the thing is that the timing never comes correct. For example the clip is about 4 minutes long and the timing in the beginning of the subtitles is 01:25:29,878 --> 01:25:30,628 . I guess this has something to do with ripping the original vobs from the dvd. When I convert the vob files to avi using WinAVI the subtitles come out great but they are stuck to the video stream. I'm using gordianknot for converting couse it doesnt visualize the subtitles. So my question is. How can i correct the timing so it will always start from the beggining. Peace

You can use Subrip for that too.

Corrections->Time Corrections.

You can add or subtract time.
I think you'd need the top option or Time Offset.

If you need to subtract time, just subtract enough time so that the beginning subtitle is were it has to be. Everything else will automatically be adjusted.

If they're still a bit off you can also fine tune them with something like Aegisub after they've been converted to srt, ssa, or ass file.
