Does anyone know any good capturing software I can use with my capture card to capture from VCR up to 640x480 resolution? VirtualDub is just WAY too much work. Also, the links in the stickied guide don't work anymore. I used iuVCR, it was OK but the quality of the VHS was better than the quality of the captured video. :/

Any suggestions? Thanks.

hbk126!
You need capture in 720x576 for PAL or 720x480 for NTSC, also use loseless codec for capture. Second stage denoising, deinterlacing, croping and resize. Pay attention to cable use S-Video instead composite RCA if possible.
yup.
