He guys,
i have read, that the gordian guys are back and will fix the 2nd pass problem (no Log-File-Reading in 2. pass).
How about it? Is there a patch available? I need the "only 2nd pass" feature of the 0.22er because often the calculated Filesize doesn't match and I don't want to do the first pass again and again!
The first pass is everytime the same, isn't it? When I rip a film @ 800K/bit and the final file is 680 Megs big and I want to do a 700 mb - file @ 820 K/bit, can I use the same log file or is it a problem? I have read, that the first pass always do a 6000k/bit codding and stores the compressibility. And so it is not a problem to use it for different second-pass-rips @ differnt bitrates, right?
Please help, T.
PS: If you read this and think "Oh, a newbie..., get out of here", stay here and answer, because everyone was a newbie. :)
