Hi, and thanks for maintaining a great source of knowledge in a very difficult field.

I am just now learning this, I edited my own wedding video in Premiere Pro.
thought it would be as easy as Photoshop, but after a while I started getting the hang of it.
The video is turning out great, but when I want to burn it straight from Premiere, just about one hours film will fit on one DVD.
I'm surprised it's that tight.
I tried DVD-muxing the film and sound and convert to Mpeg and it takes up just over three Gig.
I think I'll see if I can convert that file to DVD with some other program.
Any tips are very welcome, in the meantime - thanks for running the site.
I am learning all the time here. :thanks:

I think this might help.
Some programs keep the default setting for the burn to (HQ) 1 hour. Sometimes I have to go to Setup or Preferences, depending on the program, to change the time recorded to (SP) 2 hours. I don't have this program, but I have found out the hard way on others. Hope this helps.

Besides Some programs keep the default setting for the burn to (HQ) 1 hour. There are so many parameters in one software
. When burning choose compression rate. you select the max value. not the default value. if this not work, you would select DVD-9(8200M) or DVD-5 (4300M).

I havn't used the software what you have said. But i have used others. So easy to use.
