NO!
Just multiplex video, audio, and sub with I-Author. Remember to check "PS" option. After multiplexing rename PS file as MPG, then make menus and chapters with TSCV anf VCDImager version 7.12. You can get version 7.12 downloading latest "dvd2svcd package".

P.D. Current version of VCDeasy doesn't accept VCDImager 7.12

antonio s are you sure you can just rename the file from mps to mpg and it will be accepted by vcdimager????? cause i did get the mps file but vcdimager said it wasn't a valid mpg file. i didn't check the ps option when i was making the switchable subs though. I'll check it now and see if it works. thanks for the advice

azurenights:
When multiplexing with I-Author there is an option that change the file extension from "MPS" to "PS". Files with "PS" extension can be rename as "MPG". This file may be loaded in NERO or in TSCV. However for TSCV to work with MPG files with subtitles, you must use VCDIMAGER version 7.12...:)

Yes...TSCV is a GUI for VCDImager. You can find it here in Doom9's download section.
