Hi,

the movie is not hard subbed, because I have demuxed it just to check that.

I can't turn them off neither in software players nor in standalones.
I loaded the dvd in IfoEdit and also in DVDRemake and can't see any command that forces the subtitles.

There must be a way to turn them off, without demuxing and remuxing I mean.

Thanks in advance.

Try PGCEdit, open the dvd then go to the main stream.
Can you see any command like
SetSTN ?
Delete it or change to SetSTN off (subs)
