Hi Atak !!

Besides this old question :

Can Ripbot encode as FLAC a DTS or PCM file without encoding video track ??

I have a new one :D

How can be marked an encode , smth like "watermarked " ,i.e. " encoded by SpeeDy " (or similar , doesn't matter) ?????

Delete the pass1/2 .cmd and the muxing .cmd in the job folder.

"Watermarking": http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Overlay

@Lighto

Thanks ,but your version/offer is too professional ( overlay ) , like this one " .... DVD-Audio discs can also contain digital watermarking technology, typically embedded into the audio once every thirty seconds....."
I need and asked about Ripbot if it can includes in encodes a simple text like this :

http://anony.ws/di-BV4P.jpg

but without using mmg

Regarding " pass1/2 .cmd and the muxing .cmd " , can you be more specific ??? I didn't find them :(

That's not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to the Encoding Settings screen, BEFORE the job shows up in the job list. The encoding percentage shows up fine, it's the ripping from BluRay to MKV that doesn't show up.

It's the screen after you select the M2TS file, it shows the title info, subtitles, video format, chapters, etc. You click OK and it rips from the BluRay to video.mkv + audio. Once that's done, you can set your encoding settings. This is the stage that doesn't show the percentage in the status area.

This small app written in Delphi is specially for people looking for something simple without exotic filters and unnecessary settings.

....life is too complicated so why should be complicated more ??

It's probably better to run the encode audio batch file straight away than to go through the trouble of deleting other batch file you do not need.

@Lighto

I see..... but how that " It's probably better to run the encode audio batch file straight away " ??? How can run the audio separatelly , stright away ???? That was my first question : how can I split the video encoding process from audio encoding process ???
Is more simple to delete those 3 files you've show me.....

@darkio
I will get back to you latter.

Who else has the same problem like described by NiteShdw?

I had it , but the reason was :

1. first time I forgot to install ffdshow
2. second time it gave me a conflict between ffdshow for win 32 and win 7 x64 ,installed on the same machine
3. need re-install Ripbot and what is more important : Format C:\

there is a virus taken from music MP3 files that causes strange behavior of Ripbot , like :
- disappearing icon descktop
- errors during encode or at starting process
- errors after encoding process

@Sh4d3
Does preview option work in ripbot264 with that file?
What happens if you rename your file to video.mkv?
Have you updated ffdshow (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/files/SVN%20builds%20by%20clsid/generic%20builds/)?

Sh4d3

Yes, the preview option does work and ffdshow is also current. However, renaming the file to video.mkv had no effect- still the same issue.

I have run into this problem where RipBot now simply just does not work, its doing absolutely nothing. I load in a file and it just sits there, no indicators no system usage, nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the required components, even upgrading those that could be, i've tried upgrading and downgrading my codes (not that they changed when the problem occurred). I have tried moving it to a new drive, deleted the folders and extracted the 7z again, even re-downloaded the .16.5 as its the latest with no luck (however where does 1 get the 16.6 as indicated in the pic above?). I have run out of ideas to try here...

THe pic bellow shows what i see AFTER loading in a file:

There are many tools inside rar like a modded (?) version of libx264.exe, and ffmpeg.

There are english doc too and all necessary dll.

Have you load the PROPER file ?? What extension does it have ??

Have tried dozens of files, i run my entire series collection through RB, have over 500GB of previously done files and have about 200 waiting to be processed.

Think i that screenshot i had loaded an mpg file, but normally its avi and for kicks i tested with a small mkv file just to see if it loaded.

It generating no log file or job folders, absolutely nothing happens after loading the file, i even did a clean wipe of all codecs and installed just haalai (or however you spell it) and ffdshow and still nothing

Been there, done that my friend...unless you're talking about "DGsplit" and NOT "DGplit"; for which google gave me the finger. Feel free to check it out yourself. Anyway, I tried using DGsplit 1.2 (link provided by hoju3508, thank you), which seems to just chop files up into arbitrary segments without regard to file type. So the only payable segment of an .mkv file is the first one. Will that still work for you?

for an hour seems to be stucked or blocked
such behavior is normal?

For this encode I've checked 4.0 Progressive , deinterlace , decimate and crop
It's second time when it happened such thing...
What should I do ????
Should I clear / delete cache ????

I think I will delete RB and install again, but this , unfortunately is not a solution :(

OK , I'll let you know in few hours if it works......

Yep , seems to be working ,but after 4 hours of encode ,in the end when it must muxing , it didn't it :(
Does it matter if I have installed RB in partition F: and I asked to finish encode in partittion D: ??? I don't think so....
Usually I used to ask it finish encodes in partition G: and I haven't issue.....
I'll wait now for the second encode to see if it happenes similar lack of muxing

Why don't you use preview script function before encoding??? You can manually adjust a/v sync. Just click STOP in MPC and then PLAY.

@benjyv
try to remux it into mkv container or try to use another mpeg2 tools like cutterman or mpeg-vcr. Try to demux into elementary streams and put them into ripbot264. Sometimes ripbot fail audio/video synch when dgindex or dgAVCDec is used. The main problem is there, demuxed audio from external tools doesnt' works very well.
I suggest to author to leave dgavcdec and dgindex, and use avisynth direct show filter to open files without .d2v creation or demuxed audio.
Very usefull to add multiple audio too for final file.
Sometimes has happened to me with some TV show (multiple eps mpeg2 video and ac3 audio into mkv).

I have used MeGui and have NO problem , No out of synch , No other issue

Btw ,I've told you that I tried with file extention changed ; in Ripbot same issue :(
I've also tried preview script function before encoding , but it didn't show me just a black screen :( it tried at the beginning to open a normal , lighty image but in a second the image becames BLACK and I cannot use it :( I presume is another RB bug , I reffer to this new version ....

I'll try smth new and told you later....

Thanks for advices !!!

seeking some advice on how to force/change aspect ratio.

ok, I'm trying to encode 1080p video that is 4:3 video in 16:9 aspect ratio with black bars on the side.

What I tried to do, is auto crop the black bars, and it cut off about 240 pixels on left and right side, resulting in 1440x1080p video.

Unfortunetly the resulting video 1440x1080p is still in 16:9 ratio :(

how can I force ripbot to use the correct 4:3 ratio?

@nekrosoft13
change --sar 4:3 to --sar 1:1 in jobx_EncodeVideoPass1.cmd and jobx_EncodeVideoPass2.cmd (if necessary)

@darkio
for .TS files DirectshowSource is used , for audio demuxing I use eac3to.

@benjyv
Have you tried this tool to check if your stream does not have any errors
http://www.bitstreamtools.com/download/index.php.
In order to avoid a/v sync issues I recommend to trim your stream. First frame MUST be a IDR-frame (keyframe). In TSPE only use IF- and IF+ buttons.

I having another issue now with the latest version of Ripbot. I've noticed after going through the 1st past has completed and when it starts the 2nd pass for the conversion for a AVCHD disk I'm having an issue with ffdshow and haali splitter. Two other copies popup down by the time on taskbar on Windows 7 Home Premium x64. So why is this happening? I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling both of them, restarted computer, and ran RipBitv1.16.5 again and still same issue. This is a complete new install of Windows 7 as well.

Its not causing errors, but its making my BDMV moves hiccup throughout the movie. When you wave your mouse over the other copies they just go away like when something just crashed and it was a copy in the task bar you waive mouse over it and disappears off your screen. Is the 2nd pass trying to open a copy and overwrites itself and crashes

would it be possible to add this option and correct frame rate (like when 30fps sometimes gets detected as 24fps, and video ends up longer then video) right into future version in the GUI?

Hi there, I've installed [AviSynth v.2.5.8 MT, 64-bit] , [ffdshow_rev3914_20110629_clsid_x64.exe] , and [Haali Media Splitter 32-bit]. I actually wanted to get the full potential by installing the 64-bits, however when I try to open RipBot264, I get "Not Installed" for FFDshow is it because it must be 32 bit? Because if FFDshow has to be 32-bit then i have to make AviSynth 32-bit also, because AviSynth requires and reccomends FFDshow x64.

I'd probably demux each episode and then encode them separately. copying the m2ts to hdd and then renaming to .ts might be even easier.
...something like that is what I'd do. I'm not really sure how the disc is setup
make sure after ripbot scans the disc that you are choosing the right playlist(s) (scan with bdinfo)
there might be a playlist to play ALL of the episodes. if so...and if you're choosing that playlist, that'd account for why you end up with one big file contain all the episodes =)

This is probably what happened, selected the "play all" file...which is just one large file with all episodes...should have copied just each individual episode by itself.

I figured this out with "Lost". :)

I think I may have found a solution; seems I used the "weightb" switch incorrectly in the custom profile. I removed it and re-ran the job. Seems to be working now. I'll post an update when its finished.

It seems Warner does it like that as this is the same with Chuck, Fringe, etc...

@Atak_Snajpera:
I finally got it working. It was all my fault. It didn't really occur to me that I should double check my profile settings until the exact same problem started happening with a another rip. The thing that bugged me the most was how cryptic x264's error messages seem. Like x264 [error]: could not open input file `1' which looking back now was probably just referring to an error with one of the options or its value- in this case "weightb 1" and not the actual input file. So is it safe to assume that this feature is always on?

Hi all

I have just started with BR so I may have missed something simple here very easily. I apologise if this has been asked, but this thread is 100+ pages long and is too long to read through on a 64K connection.

I am trying to use ripbot on an XP SP3 machine.

I had to install Java, FFDshow etc, to get it to load up.

WHen I start a job, it runs for a couple of seconds and finishes. Know I know its not a super computer so I went looking into the logs and found this

Error: The source file 'D:\Temp\RipBot264temp\video.264' could not be opened successfully, or retrieving its size by seeking to the end did not work.

Checking the directory, there is indeed no video.264 file there.

How do I fix this problem, what have I done wrong.

Thanks

Mick

Thats odd, RIpbot264 should see the individual playlists (i.e. one per episode). Another option, use MakeMKV t o rip out the individual episodes, and then put through Ripbot. I had no issues with the Supernatural BR discs.

Hi all,

I've been trying to encode the LOTR extended trilogy I recently bought (starting with FotR), however I've encountered a few problems along the way - I'll be referring to FotR from now on as I believe I can extend the solution to the others.

It's spread across 2 BD-50's so normally one would just extract the av streams (.h264/.dts core) from each and append/mux them together using mkvmerge or tsmuxer, etc. - pretty simple you'd think? Unfortunately not. In fact it turns out there's about 6-8s and 1-2s of black screen at the end and beginning of the 2 av streams, respectively. Personally, I'd prefer my final result to have end scene -> next scene instead of a 10s transition screen so I went about cropping it using tsmuxer/mkvmerge (I forget which I used - this past week's been a blur) and then appended the desired files back together. It worked well as far as I recall and I then fed the .ts (.h264 stream) and .dts into RipBot; however the end result was less than desirable. The audio was out of sync and it progressively got further ahead of the video, which I thought was an fps issue as I've seen this sort of thing happen before. I tried encoding it a second time, this time using Assume -> 23.976, but again the same result.

I've used RipBot a couple hundred times now and it works every time so I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but my best guess is it has to do with the separate files and perhaps not using the best method for cropping them? I'm not sure how to proceed, so any assistance is much appreciated.

I'm not sure how to proceed, so any assistance is much appreciated.

Cut with DGIndex (Either the NV or AVC package variant), append with Avisynth ;)

Feed AVS to Ripbot ;)

So workflow would look something like:
M2TS -> DGIndex -> DTS + H264 + D2V
2nd M2TS -> DGIndex -> DTS + H264 + D2V

Avisynth would go something like:

a=DGSource("1st D2V file")
b=DirectShowSource("DTS file", audio only)
c=AudioDub(a,b)
d=DGSource(2nd D2V file")
e=DirectShowSource("2nd DTS file", audio only)
f=AudioDub(d,e)
c + f

Is the first sub a blank one when viewed in SupRip or BDsup2Sub? If so, just removed it, and remux the modified one back into your AVCHD.

Hi, I've found a little gui for crispurscoder (spursengine). It use free software and avisynth but not support for pal resolution.
It's very simple to use. Can you take a look ? Maybe can be used with ripbot264.
http://translate.google.it/translate?hl=it&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.taifuh.com%2Fblog%2F2010%2F02%2Fspursengine.html

I've encoded a sample from dvd source "c.s.i. miami" opening using crispurscoder from cli and avisynth script:

AVS:
#ASYNTHER DirectShowSource
DirectShowSource("K:\Serie TV\C.S.I. Miami\Stagione 1\C.S.I. Miami [S01xE01] - L'ultimo volo.mkv")
#loadplugin("autocrop.dll")
#autocrop()

Cut with DGIndex (Either the NV or AVC package variant), append with Avisynth ;)

Feed AVS to Ripbot ;)

So workflow would look something like:
M2TS -> DGIndex -> DTS + H264 + D2V
2nd M2TS -> DGIndex -> DTS + H264 + D2V

Avisynth would go something like:

a=DGSource("1st D2V file")
b=DirectShowSource("DTS file", audio only)
c=AudioDub(a,b)
d=DGSource("2nd D2V file")
e=DirectShowSource("2nd DTS file", audio only)
f=AudioDub(d,e)
c + f

7ek

So I've got the dts tracks and dga's now, and wrote the avs.
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\RipBot264\Tools\dgAVCDec\DGAVCDecode.dll")
a=AVCSource("C:\f1\f1.dga")
b=DirectShowSource("C:\f1\f1 PID 1100 C+L+R+SL+SR 48 1536 DELAY 0ms.dts", audio=true)
c=AudioDub(a,b)
d=AVCSource("C:\f2\f2.dga")
e=DirectShowSource("C:\f2\f2 PID 1100 C+L+R+SL+SR 48 1536 DELAY -39ms.dts", audio=true)
f=AudioDub(d,e)
c + f

For DSS, is it audio=true or video=false? I haven't really used DSS much before, although it looks pretty straightforward. As for RipBot, the avs shows up in the audio window as well; however, it gives me a few profiles (vorbis, aac, ac3) instead of copy stream, which is what I'd like.

Advice? Thanks for the help thus far. :cool:

Those tests are biased I have to say. Every time I see a comparison chart there is always a different product on the top listed as the best.

Pick one that doesn't complain about good usable software and be done with it.. I do however agree with Atak, being a PC tech I've never seen a problem with MSE. :rolleyes:

Steer as far away from McAfee as you can get... Truly the worst AV EVER... Ive seen more computers come to me that have McAfee installed and working whiles being infected with 4 or more active chunks of malware. Root kits, Trojans, Key loggers etc.

pacaveli211
16th July 2011, 00:43
yeah McAfee is trash
MSE seems pretty decent - I use it on my laptop
AVG is ok
Avast / Avira / Eset Nod are all supposed to be good
I use Comodo on my desktop

honestly you're gonna be a lot better off if you just don't be a dipshit while using the internet (don't run virus scans from popups...don't install shit, etc)
and also doing things like using FF / AB+ / NoScript (instead of using dumb browsers like IE)

Subtitles Problem

While converting mkv/x264 videos to a smaller size I've been having the problem of the included subtitles being hardcoded into the converted video.

On the Edit Job > Properties settings I've choose "Do not use subtitles" but they keep being hardcoded.

Could someone please tell me how to stop this from happening. It's ruined alot of videos.

Incase this info helps. I often add videos to the queue to be processed later, reopening Ripbot when needed.

That 20%-30% speedup probably only refers to the time spent on the mbtree algorithm, not to the overall speed of an encode.

There is a very good working Beta... I have been using it for months and months... Here is the link if you are interested. I never (Or I should say very rarely) use x86 IE... 64-Bit is much faster and crisper. It also has less add-ons :)

Never put any files other than links on your desktop. Tools which add files in the same directory will clutter it until you don't remember what's important for your Windows' health and what isn't.

Make a directory on a data partition (if you have more than one, and you should – for security and speed). Place your video files there. That keeps your desktop clean. If you absolutely need quick access there, copy a link to that directory to your desktop...

There is a very good working Beta... I have been using it for months and months... Here is the link if you are interested. I never (Or I should say very rarely) use x86 IE... 64-Bit is much faster and crisper. It also has less add-ons :)

thanks, but I prefer to use browsers which actually function properly and efficiently. if I ever decide I want to be more susceptible to virii and crashes...I'll start using IE

Since you are playing dumb, I've struck you rule 6 for this violation and for an earlier obvious rule 6 violation. If you come back after your suspension, you need to READ and OBEY our forum rules if you want to stay around here. That means no discussion of downloaded or torrent files.

you can try increasing your DPI in display settings (it's under the resolution tab and then the advanced button or something, I don't have xp so I can't tell you exactly based on memory alone =P)
this will affect everything though, not just ripbot

@ MAL1K:

Still staying with XP SP2 might be seen as "suicide trip"... I hope this machine is far away from the Internet. ;) And there is already software which requires SP3 as minimum.

There seems to be an issue with some possibly corrupt font files. No idea how to fix that reliably. But falling back to "System" looks serious to me.

To make your PC part of a bot network and have it send out spam mails or attack other PCs without you even noticing.

How certain can you be not having a rootkit? And you might catch one easily. Like by browsing the web with insecure software. Even by just being connected, depending on the vulnerability of the unfixed security hole.

SP3 alone may not protect you from all that. But many following updates require it as base.

But well ... that's not the topic here.

I just tested this.
I loaded a movie - in an MKV, with DTS
output is set to MKV as well
I have the Aften AC3 options

is your DTS in the container? or a separate file?
is it DTS-HD MA/HR or just DTS 1536/768?
you're not trying to output to .mp4 are you?

umm....DTS is rated higher than everything, excluding the ANC_Original
the test is useless though. find something that compares ac3 640 and DTS 1536. because that's the real competition
DTS-HD MA vs TrueHD might be nice to see too
although - since they're lossless, there shouldn't be a difference

no, im using klite codec pack which includes atak's mediainfo simple gui, not from the original installer. i guess i figured that this is my problem, not mediainfo's, bcz even if i copy encoding settings text from notepad or browser, i still got bsod. but if i copy the normal texts thats fine..

for example if i copy texts like
cabac=1 / ref=5 / deblock=1:-1:-1 / analyse 0x3:0x33 / me=umh / subme=9 / psy=1 / etcetc...... that will cause BSOD (i was typing them all, im afraid my pc will bsod again)

but for normal texts like
ID : 1
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : Baseline@L2.1
Format settings, CABAC : No
Format settings, ReFrames : 3 frames
etc.... thats okay.. (i was copied them here without any crash)
i dunno whats happening, looks like my clipboard doesnt accept those kind of texts which cause bsod. any clue? my 32 bit xp doesnt have this problem..

How long should it take for Ripbot to do a conversion to MVK from data on the HDD?

you've not provided enough information for anyone to accurately answer that. it depends on how long the movie is, what the AR of the movie is, what CPU you have, and what settings you're using in ripbot. there are lots of other factors as well, but these are the main ones.

I can do an encode - sourced from bluray, to BD25 in about 6hrs. this is an average and I'm using an AMD 1090t. longer movies and/or lower AR movies have taken longer. for example The Island took over 7 hrs, because it's 2:16 long. Avatar would take even longer yet, because it's 1.78:1 and like 3 hrs long.

Yeah, I've done short (~1hr) animated movies in 2-3 hours, and some long, grainy movies have taken ~14hrs. This is on Windows 7 running in a VM in Parallels for Mac on a MacBook Pro Core i7.

that movie is like 2hrs 40mins long
if you encode to 720p (vs 1080p) it'll go a lot faster
encoding with CQ vs 2-pass will also be faster

Hi all

Have tried searching the thread to see if this has been reported elsewhere, but couldn't see any reference to it.

I have a number of .wtv files recorded off-air from Canal Digital in Sweden. They are a mix of MPEG2 SD and H264 HD (720p and 1080i I think). The MPEG2 .wtv files work fine with RipBot, but the H264 HD stuff seems to fall over during the remux process from .wtv to .ts and the .ts files aren't created.

Is this a known problem? Should I be upgrading other components?

Hope you can help - this looks like a great solution for me.

Thanks

Converting blu-rays and DVDs are almost exactly the same with Ripbot. It is really easy to use with for DVDs of movies. I've never figured out the best way to use it with DVDS of TV shows (multiple episodes), so I first use something like DVD Decrypter or VideoReDo to extract the episodes.

I'm trying to convert 1080p mkv files to a 4gb MAX 720 file, to try to get as high of a bitrate as i can get, using Ripbot, but there's a problem.

When I convert the original 1080p MKV to a 1080p MP4, setting the file size to 4gb gets me a bitrate of about 3500kbps.

Now, when I convert the original 1080p MKV to a 720p MP4, setting the file size to 4gb, it gets me a bitrate of about 3501kpbs.

What's the deal? I would think that the bitrate would increase a lot?

klopsknoedel
11th August 2011, 14:02
why should it increase? The filesize (4GB) and the duration of your movie doesn't change while changing the resolution! So you have even 3500kbps for 720p AND 1080p!! To help understanding thatt "kbps" stands for Kilobyte Per Second so "Same duration and same filesize = same kbps".

Ok.... I guess i'm just not comprehending some of the conversion mechanics.

So what's the benefit of converting to 720p instead of 1080p if the file size and kbps remain the same?

Unless Atak mentions otherwise (I don't think he is using the 10bit depth version) just download the 32bit 8bit-depth and 64bit 8bit-depth versions from that site under encoder (x264.exe):

On all sites I found , there are just One version : x264.exe....
That's my problem....I need two of them to work well

When you download the x32 version simply rename it x264_x86.exe and copy over (same goes for the x64 version). That doesn't work?

@benjyv, I left that dll file alone and replaced the old x264*.exe with a newer version and it works for me. I have re-encoded about 10 jobs now.

FYI, I used the binaries from BD-RB since I figured that jdobbs has done a lot of testing. You just have to rename them to like RipBot's.

- Updated the included version of X264.EXE to the
latest release (r2044).

if a single bit of data has to hold 1920x1080 px or 1280x720 px
which do you think is gonna look better?

obviously a single bit of data doesn't hold a full i-frame...but that's just to put into perspective/understandable terms

Can somebody please advise me on how to deal with forced subtitles?
There are two methods (that I am familiar with) ...

You can build these forced subtitles into the picture, or just leave them as an optional selection.

Once you have loaded the movie into Ripbot264:

Go to "Properties" -> "Permanent Subtitles" -> "Build Into Picture" ... select the FORCED english subtitles. This should build the subs into the picture.

The other option is "Selectable Subtitles" -> "+" -> select the FORCED english subtitle.

This makes the subtitle selectable without building into the picture...meaning, you can either use it or not use it during the movie.

For me though, I go one step further and when the movie is finished encoding, I use MKVMerge and give the subtitle a "forced" flag. This way its not built into the picture, but is forced anyway. (maybe ripbot gives a "forced" flag? but im not sure, so I just use MKVMerge)

pacaveli211
12th August 2011, 04:17
I use bdsup2sub to add forced flags to subs - this is when keeping it in .sup form (avchd / bd5 / bd9 / bd25)
this does the same thing (with players) as crackinhedz was describing. it forces the subtitles to show, but they're not part of the picture and can be shut off

Has anyone used InterFrame with RipBot? I've been using RipBot for a while now and would like to know what script works best with RipBot to create interframes.

I put a script in from the MeGui guide and left it at the Medium preset, ran it through RipBot 2-Pass encoding, but the interpolation seems to have bad frames in it in throughout the video.

Do I need to do single pass encoding with it?

I am not sure if this will help you out but here is what I do when I want to free up resources for other computer activities while encoding. I have a quad core processor so while x264 is doing its thing I go into task manager and set the affinity of x264 to use less cores. This is one method I know of but if you don't have a multi-core processor I don't think it will do you much good. Just a suggestion for you to ponder.

I have the following settings below in a file named "[HIGH 4.1] BD9 . Veryslow . Film.txt" in the Profiles directory. This came from Authoring a professional Blu-ray Disc with x264 (http://www.x264bluray.com/home/1080i-p) 1080i/p example.

--preset veryslow --tune film --bluray-compat --vbv-maxrate 15000 --vbv-bufsize 15000 --level 4.1 --keyint 24 --slices 4 --aud --sar 1:1

where --preset can be:

Values available: ultrafast, superfast, veryfast, faster, fast, medium, slow, slower, veryslow, placebo.

and --tune can be:

Values available: film, animation, grain, stillimage, psnr, ssim, fastdecode, zerolatency.

You can find more info on X264 Settings - MeWiki (http://mewiki.project357.com/wiki/X264_Settings#qpstep).

Does anybody see importance in that?

We know there are many ways to do this separately...
I asked to Atak, if he could create a function MUX (video and audio) for RipBot.
Normally I use this function to replace an audio for other.
I speak of MUX with the conversion of audio, as well as the function "JUST MUX" of StaxRip.
I refer to MUX videos of MKV and MP4. As well as the RipBot allows to maintain the audio, which could maintain also a video.

Summarizing: That he could maintain the video and to convert or to exchange only the audio.
At the moment, if I want to remain with the original video stream, I need to extract before through MKVExtractGUI2, tsMuxerGUI, Yamb, etc.
And then to use the MKVMerge or Yamb to obtain a MKV and MP4, respectively.

More...
The user Soneca had the idea, and it commented with me...
Naturally, that does not change anything for those who already have English as the standard language.
The solution for some devices that do not activate the subtitles automatically.
Create the option to "The subtitles will be activated by default"...
Only for the encoding AVCHD.

I usually am not a complainer at all but it seems to me you want to add and do all this other stuff that ripbot wasn't entirely intended for. If you want to do all the other scripts and parameters and change things around why are you not using a more in depth GUI like megui? The whole point of ripbot is for more of us lamens who don't care about such settings and want a more simplistic GUI to work with. Personally I find your constant questions rather annoying and I'm not even the developer. I can't imagine how he feels.

7ekno
20th August 2011, 14:05
that ripbot wasn't entirely intended for.

Custom commandlines have always been a feature, but dim wits that think a MediaInfo / SEI data dump is the correct commandline format for x264 are complete tools ...

@benjyv you probably have no clue what I said, so here it is for you simplified:

The data in your code box is an INFORMATIONAL FORMAT only, the custom commandline field in Ripbot requires commands in the STANDARD X264 COMMAND LINE FORMAT ...

If that is still not simple enough for you, here is an example:

There is NO SUCH COMMAND as decimate = 1, it is written in the custom commandline box as --no-dct-decimate, furthermore, x264 commands are NOT separated by / characters, they are separated by <Space> and written in a way that -- precedes each parameter ...

Spend a little time understanding the process rather than requiring every simple little detail spoon fed to you ...

That will depend a lot on the kind of denoising function you use.

Just an example: It won't make much sense to wonder about an overheated CPU core if the denoising is GPU assisted (FFT calculations being externalized to the video decoder on graphic chipsets via DirectX).

Anyway, I hope your system is not overclocked.
