I didn't know if i should put this in seperate thread or not but..
i installed the new Real Player Beta and it seems Media Player Classic does not play the audio. It still plays Real Video, but no audio.
Maybe just me.
I'm so glad Rhapsody decided to raise their monthly rates by 50%. This caused me to finally cancel my subscription, and now I'm Real Player free again! Rejoice!
heh... okay, I'm not trolling. My experience with Real Player is that the developers of it are very egotistic in that they have no qualms about taking over everything they possibly can. (In fairness, they are probably just taking their cue from Apple's devs and their QuickTime player which takes over everything without even asking!)
This is just a shot in the dark, but long story short, maybe it's as simple as your file/stream types being taken over? Have you checked?

Yeah i checked the file extensions...somethin's fishy.
I use dBpoweramp Music Converter to convert real audio, and it won't convert real audio anymore.Sometimes you can drag on to Goldwave and it will actually convert for you,but this isn't working.I intalled the Old Tara plugin for Winamp,it actually works still. But something changed, don't know if it's a Real thing or a i f'd up my settings thing.
About five minutes from uninstalling which is a shame, the new features,ie downloading videos from Youtube, etc. seems like a
neat feature, not neat enough to sacrifice a handful of my most prized applications.
