View Full Version : Can len0x release a payed version with enhancements?

I know that development of AutoGK has stopped some years ago. len0x tell us that poor donations and heavy programming time have forced him to quit.

So, I was wondering if len0x would not be interested in a non-free release of AutoGK. I will pay for it (and other users too, certainly). The software is great but IMHO it needs some enhancements. It should include support for On2 VP7 and X.264 for video and OGG Vorbis for audio. These are amazing codecs and will produce even higher quality output movies.

I didn't know it. Thanks, man! Unfortunately it does not supports my favorite video codec, the amazing On2 VP7, like Fair Use Wizard does. But I will try it anyway. :)

FUW and AGK are wonderfull programs, which i have used many times. But both are laking some features.

AGK - x264 & VP7 & logo filter what FUW has
FUW- The main poblem is, there no file input support.

For sure I wil be ready to support, I already purchased FUW.

MeGUI is not meant to replace AGK.
Even if it has a one click encoding options it does not check for standalones compatibility.

unfortunately i dont think people will just donate in hopes of "encouraging future work", i think AutoGK users need to know that it WILL BE developed further then money will start to pour in.

i think a much more effective technique would be to actually charge for a PRO version? and include all the newer advanced features in that version.

i would be the first to buy it as long as the price were reasonable.

having said this, len0x deserves a donation from me whether he/she decides to develop further or not. i use the tool on a daily basis.

len0x are you watching this ? :-)
