VirtualDub & CellPhone movies

Hello, my camera ran out of power so I recored a lot of movies on cellphone on my recent vacations. However when trying to encode them VirtualDub doesn't allow me to. Is it impossible for VirtualDub to encode because they're from a cellphone? I think it's .gp3

You'll need to convert them in something else, vd can't open those. Try Mediacoder, mkvmagic, or if those don't work, SUPER. (If you're going to edit and re-encode, choose the highest quality avi option.)

You can also edit them directly with QuickTime Pro, obviously not freeware but very simple to use.

I don't know if I can get QuickTime PRO, but meanwhile I got SUPER, It's too confusing... may I get any assistance? It's just some tiny 300Kb videos from my cellphone, but they're really important...
