Ivtc?

Hi when i do IVTC to my movie. i always end up with 29 Frames Per Second. anyone know why i don't get 23.976 FPS? i use megui to create .avs than virtual dub to make avi with CBR 1 pass. Thanks.

In megui script creator, the steps are:
1. Open video
2. Enter "Film" for source type, or Analyze if you aren't sure.
3. Check "Deinterlace".
4. Choose TIVTC or Decomb.

Then fiddle with the rest of your script and encode.

If you're using autoencode, well, maybe you don't really have film material, otherwise it would detect that.
