I am trying to convert a ~45 min short film from TS (MPEG-2/DTS) to WVC-1 for 360 playback and am having a heck of a time getting the audio and video to jive.
I back up all my HD DVDs so I am not new to the process but I am certainly new to TS.
Heres what I have done
Demuxed the DTS using mplayer -dumpaudio
Converted the DTS to 6 mono WAVs with tranzcode
Converted the 6 WAVs to WMA 10 Pro 5.1 with WM Encoder 9
Built a graph for the TS by just dragging the TS into graph edit. The resulting graph is Filesource(async) > Sonic HD Demuxer > Cyberlink Video/SP Decoder (PDVD7) > ffdshow Video Decoder (Tryouts build 1205 I believe)
The graph/avs play just fine in any player but to make a long story short through guess and check fps values in the AVS and A/V mux tests, the frame rate of the video would have to be somewhere between 24 and 25 (roughly 24.5 it would seem) for it to sync with the audio. I am not sure where to begin troubleshooting. I am not sure if it is the video or the audio to blame or both.
I tried demuxing the video too but I could never make a graph with the raw MPG without it crashing Graphedit.
