programming error?

I'm backing up the pianist. I first tried to just burn the ISO threw dvd shrink and got the same error, so I used dvd decrypter and it worked and made a 7 gig ISO, then when opening it in dvd shrink and I do my editing stuff, (full disk), and when I go to make backup I get this error?? I dont know why? any ideas. It's worked for the other 6 dvd's Ive backed up over the past 2 days.

Hi!

"The Pianist" DVD is a 2002 Universal Studios release - that contains no newer or "special" copy protection and, therefore, should present no backup problem.

1) Perhaps you've fouled something when you did your "editing stuff". Exactly what did you do?

2) Do not use DVD Shrink to burn D/L DVDs, as it's been reported to NOT properly set the layer break (Critical to a successful D/L burn). Use IMGBurn instead...

ok here is exactly what I did.

I put the dvd "The Pianist" in my dvd rom. Opened dvdshrink, clicked open disk, clicked on my dvdrom. It analyzed it, then I went to menus and went to custom ratio and took the bar all the way to the left, then to extras and did the same, then to unidentified folder or something and did the same. then I went to make backup so it would create a ISO not burn it. I would "have" burned it with imgburn (love that program) anyways It gave me that error.

SO I used dvd decrypter to do it and it made me an ISO I then opened it in dvd shrink to make it smaller because it was 8 gig's or something. I did the same "Edit" stuff as I said in the first paragraph and went to create backup and got exact same error....

I'm dumb found.. Idk why it wont work.

Please clarify - Is it your desire to make a D/L (double layer) backup or to compress and make a S/L (single layer) backup?

a single layer, I allready have the double layer just fine as I said in my post. When I have dvd shrink go to make me a 4.7gig iso to fit on a dvd-r it gives me the error.
