Use QuickTime Pro to combine two pieces of video into one single .MOV file and MediaInfo shows the file info as follows:

Format : QuickTime
Format/Info : Quictime movie
Format/Family : MPEG-4
File size : 94.4 MiB
PlayTime : 5mn 57s
Bit rate : 2213 Kbps
StreamSize : 258 KiB

(Movie 1)
Codec : H.264
Codec/Info : H.264 (3GPP)
PlayTime : 8s 608ms
Bit rate : 1878 Kbps
Width : 320 pixels
Height : 240 pixels

(Movie 2)
Codec : H.264
Codec/Info : H.264 (3GPP)
PlayTime : 5mn 49s
Bit rate : 2083 Kbps
Width : 320 pixels
Height : 240 pixels

Codec : AAC LC
Codec/Info : AAC Low Complexity
PlayTime : 5mn 57s
Bit rate : 128 Kbps
Bit rate mode : CBR
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 48 KHz
Resolution : 16 bits
StreamSize : 5.47 MiB

The problem happened when using ffmpeg, converting this MOV file to AVI and playing back the AVI, the Movie 1 part of the resultant AVI file has never be played, though the audio part is correct. This makes the audio kind of 8 seconds behind the video, and the first "8s 608ms" video is gone.

Does anyone know of the cause of the problem?

Thanks!
