Hi
I would like to hear the thoughts of others who have used this application. I am currently attempting to put together a video encompassing what I consider to be the best scenes from my favourite tv series using a combination of iSofter (to rip actual segments) and VideoReDoPluse (to edit and cut the particular scenes which I wish to use. VideoReDoPlus I am finding to be an excellent piece of software but iSofter has been causing me a number of problems. Firstly the quality of the output (which is set to Video CD (.mpg) as default) is average at best. I cannot change it to an AVI setting as this is not recognised by VideoReDO and I do not know whether it would even improve the quality anyway.
In all honestly though the quality issue has been the least of the problems as recently I am having trouble even ripping the actual segments from the disc. Often it takes numerous attempts for me to even get the application to recognise that there is a disc in the drive and it has crashed numerous times in the middle of the ripping process. Scenes I am managing to successfully rip now often have the sound out of sink which was never a problem before. Below is one example of a error message I keep receiving when using a certain disc.
Video unit buffer full
Check rate ctrl padd min and start
Or incease Audio Bitrate
Or decrease Video Bitrate
Sorry for the length of this post but help with ANY of the problems which I've mentioned above would be greatly appreciated. I really want to put this vid together.
Thanks in advance
