View Full Version : Screen distorted with TVTool working, need help !

I am using TVTool 5.5.3 to watch movies on my TV. When I switch to TV Mode, my computer screen adjust to new frequency, resizes and starts to shakes. Distortions look like horizontal lines shifting to left and right. I did reinstalled TVTool and drivers for my G-Force2MX400 card. For a while it seems to solve the problem, however distortions return after couple hours.

I was able to use TVTool without any problems and distortions started recently after I had to reinstall WinMe.

Any suggestions?

Is your card an Abit Siluro with a Chrontel chip? If it is, I had the same problem. I returned the card to the store, but there's other people having the same problem as you, try tvtool's forum at http://www.tvtool.com.

I tried TVTool forum but i did not find any answer to my problem.
My video card is Visiontek with NVIDIA GeForce2MX400 and TV Chip

Ok, that's exactly the same chip that has problems with TVTool. I don't know if there's some way to avoid the interference yet :(
