smooth video

I'm trying to smooth videos recorded with E90 or N95. With my nikon coolpix I've had good result with this script:

mvfpsflowscd(60)

My digital camera rec at 30 fps and bobbing frames I've found good result. E90 rec at 30 fps 640*480, but in reality fps are less, >8 <20

There's a way to improve smooth on a video with variable fps?
what kind of script I should use?

I think, buying a new high-speed card for your digicam may be the better choice ;)
