Ahoy! My first ever MeGUI problem (I think...)

So anyway, I rendered a video as an uncompressed AVI, and when I try to encode it in MeGUI, I get this: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5328/errorro1.jpg

This is the first time this has happened, and strangely enough, I tried rendered a very small section of this movie and I could encode it in MeGUI, except when I render all of it, it won't work. I'm not sure what filters its talking about either, since the Filters tab is all greyed out anyway....

You need a raw directshow video decoder installed. Try using ffdshow.

Problem is I do use ffdshow.

I encoded it using Xvid, it worked as normally except for these:

Video in the end turned out fine with Xvid... but the compressibility... oh the compressibility.

Well, it simply looks like a damaged AVI that your directshow filters couldn't read. In those situations I usually try to mux it to MKV or MP4.

Link to somewhere where I can learn thing muxing?
