I don't have a link to a demo version but I'm sure if you look on google or something you should be able to find it. This isn't really the place to look for software, unless it's on domm9's download page of course.

The link doesn't always work. I have dl-ed it 2 days ago there! But last week it didn't work and now not either so check it often.

I heard that I-Author doesn't fully support the SVCD specs :confused: so there can be problems with playback (especially with subs)

There is a Philips SVCD ToolSet :) available http://www.licensing.philips.com/ordering/soft/documents199.html and it's for free :cool:

There are manuel.pdf in all 3 zips, were the progs are explained.;)
