A new version of this Wavelet codec based on Dirac specification release a new version !
Schrodinger is an implementation of the next-generation BBC Dirac codec.
It is implemented in C and assembly and also comes with a set of
GStreamer plugins for both encoding and decoding of Dirac video.
Schrodinger 0.6.0 just hit our download area on:
http://schrodinger.sourceforge.net/schrodinger_source.php
This is a major milestone for the Schrodinger project as its the first
release that should be fully bitstream compliant with the Dirac
specification.
Further work is planned in terms of speed and encoding quality and of
course fixing any bugs found be it bitstream issues or other kinds.
