Hi
Can you tell me which software players support playing of XSUB™ subtitles in DivX files (.divx)?
How can one make a software player that does not natively support it play those XSUB™ subtitles?
Thanks and regards.
divx player and also windows media player if you have 6 series divx codec installed. Will not work with win 98 and ME.

Unfortunately, no player except DivX player supports directly xsub. Most software players will accept xsubs if you have installed DivX6 and you let it handle the xsub within the othr player. I managed to play xsub movies in KMPlayer this way.
