.avs Player

is there a media player that can play .avs files? i'm a vlc guy, and i always have been, but vlc can't play .avs's. i just want a way to get a better preview than the one provided by the preview-window-thingy in MeGUI. :confused:

VLC can't play avs files? ffplay and mplayer both can so you would think someone would have added support to VLC? In fact since VLC uses libavformat? I can't see how it wouldn't play avs files.

As said MPC can. Same should go for any dshow based player though.
