Use Entrysvcd (might fix shown time)

Does this work for anyone. I tried it but PBC still shows on my Pioneer 434. Only way is to hit '1' on the keypad and it'll show time but then minus the chapters. PBC has to be enabled for chapters....bummer.

Doesn't work for me, but then I have a pioneer as well (344, sold in au and the pacific) :p

Thanks, I didn't realise I could get a time display by pressing 1. I'll be doing that from now on, it's not like I want to skip scenes when watching a film.

I know it's little off the topic but anyway here is my question:

Do the SVCD or CVD subtitles work on your Pioneers standalone.

I thinking of buying Pioneer 444 and would really like to know how must i make my subs (right now i use permanent).

Mrbass is your Pioneer 434 the new one with slim design?

no ...434 is not slim...the 343 is slimmer and the only difference is the 434 has progressive scan for HDTV. 333,341,343,434,5?? what the 5-disc model is I would venture to say CVD and SVCD subtitles are not supported. I'm not sure about the 444 as I understand it's a newer one than the ones just listed.
