I have got a problem:

I use MeGui 0.2.4.1041 with the latest updates.
I use the CQ-ASP_Q2_eq(crf) video profile. I did not change anything.

Here is the command line:

--crf 0 --ref 3 --mixed-refs --bframes 3 --b-pyramid --b-rdo --bime --weightb --filter -2,-1 --subme 6 --trellis 1 --analyse all --8x8dct --vbv-maxrate 25000 --me umh --threads 2 --thread-input --progress --no-psnr --no-ssim --output ...
crf 0 is wrong. But why does MeGui do that?

MeGui 0.2.4.1026 works all right.

Here the command line:
--crf 18 --ref 3 --mixed-refs --bframes 3 --b-pyramid --b-rdo --bime --weightb --filter -2,-1 --subme 6 --trellis 1 --analyse all --8x8dct --vbv-maxrate 25000 --me umh --threads 2 --thread-input --progress --no-psnr --no-ssim --output ...

Can somebody try the CQ-ASP_Q2_eq(crf) video profile with MeGui 0.2.4.1041 to confirm my problem?

:thanks:

It's fine here, are you sure you didn't check the 'lossless' button?

Funny.
I did a new meGui install.
I did not change anything.

I select the CQ-ASP_Q2_eq(crf)-profile and press the config button.
Then I press "OK" to return to the main window.
A window pops up. "Profile has been changed. Update the selected profile?" I press "Yes". I haven't changed a thing, though.
When I now start the job, everything works fine.
:)
crf 18 instead of crf 0.

I don't have to understand everything.
Thank you for your help.

I'll vouch for you, Hobojobo. I ran into the same thing.

I just upgraded from Vista to XP, so I had a clean install of MeGUI.

Ran the MeGUI update to download profiles, didn't touch a thing. Using CQ-ASP_Q2_eq(crf), it used crf 0.
Pressed Config, changed it to 18.1, then back to 18.0, pressed ok.
Now it works.

Strange :)
