I was just wondering, where can I download all the files in order to use MeGUI & x264?

I have avisynth, MeGUI, & X264, but I don't know exactly what I need for encoding DVD to H264 with the software and I cannot use the auto update feature.

I am using a PC that is not connected to the internet for encoding. I Download everything from one PC then transfer it using a flash USB stick.

Are there additional files to Download, or would simply downloading the newest builds of X264 & MeGUI keep me up to date?

I am asking, because in the past, when I tried encoding DVD rips with this software, I would always get an error on the analyzing of the video source & the d2v creation, and the encode was always slightly interlaced.

Thanks

or would simply downloading the newest builds of X264 & MeGUI keep me up to date? That depends.. normally, yes, but there can be updates that require newer support libraries (especially the avisynth wrapper or mediainfo) or filters, or muxers.
Then again.. if things work, it's not a must to update.

To add to what Doom9 has said...

Since you'll be running megui from a pc which cannot auto update, download the installer for megui and Avisynth.

On the pc you're using to download:
1. Do not install Avisynth.
2. Install megui
3. Let megui do its autoupdate, including profiles and presets.
4. If you want the latest build of x264 with Sharktooth's patches applied, go here: http://cef.neuf.fr/x264/ and download the one appropriate for your build of Windows.
5. Drop the downloaded x264.exe into the "\megui\tools\x624\" directory and overwrite the existing version.
6. Either zip up the megui directory or copy the entire thing onto your USB mem stick.
7. Install Avisynth on non-Internet connected machine.
8. Unzip or copy megui to directory of choice on non-Internet connected machine.
9. Make you a shortcut to "megui.exe" and enjoy!
