Hi, I always used autogk and with xvid. How do I setup the autogk program to use divx 6.0?

If this is asked before, sorry, but I used the search function and didn't find anything.

if its grey, install the divx codec.

I once encoded with AutoGK and DivX 6.4 or 6.5 - but GSpot told me afterwards its an Xvid avi.

Heh, what I meant is although I install the latest divx codec, will autogk be smart enough to recognize it is divx 6.6 and use it to the max?

AutoGK doesn't "use it to the max" under any circumstances, and reports I've read here indicate that newer DivX versions don't work well at all. AutoGK is a fine program for ease-of-use, but it was never intended to provide a high-quality output.

So just for clarification, the autogk won't necessarily use all the advanced features of divx 6?
