Buyer's Tip: Do Not Buy Basic Instinct HD-DVD

The video quality on this disc is awful. Blocks and compression artifacts galore especially in the indoor scenes. Whoever encoded this junk should be ashamed. If you want this movie, the Blu-Ray version is coming out soon. Make sure to rent before you buy if you can. I couldn't rent this HD-DVD version since it's a Euro release and I live in the USA. What a waste of money.:mad:

No, that scene was fine (in more ways than one :) ), it's the bedroom scenes that contain low light combined with red and orange hues.
