ripping a SVCD sound stream

This is probably not the right section, but don't where to put it else. I need to rip the sound stream of an SVCD. Anyone know if this is possible? if so, how?

there are a few programs that might do it...but the ones i know only make the sound into mp2 (not wav or anything). just have a look around at a few mpg sites at their download sections, and see if they have any mpg tools (or you could ask in the svcd encoding section in this forum....that would probably be more helpful)
