need help in subtitling

what do fansubbers use in subtitling the movie? i want to subtitle my project in english and i want to put karaoke on the singing part. i have searched but i found nothing about the karaoke. please help me specially the fansubbers here if any.

Where have you searched? Maybe you don't use your eyes to search. That's all that was needed in this case.

i know how to make subtitles. but the problem is the effects. how to add effects to the subtitles. for example, the karaoke in the animes. effects like those

well it's not something you learn in a minute from a forum. you have to understand how .ASS files work, with different commands and such. download AegiSub and try to (slowly) learn from example files that are around the web.

but you still need to know the basics of normal (effects-less) karaoke for it to work...
