Fellow forum members,

I use Zoom Player to play all my video media. As you may know, Zoom Player allows you to configure various filters and decoders to achieve optimum playback. One of the filters I use is FFdshow: for DVD i use FFdsow for image processing (sharpness, de-blurring, etc) and for HD-DVD I use it simply as a decoder.

The problem is that since I'm using the same filter for both DVD and HD-DVD, all the settings I have intended for DVD get applied to HD-DVD which is undesirable.

Is there a way to configure FFdshow so that it uses one set of settings for DVD and a different set for HD-DVD?

Thanks

ffdshow allows you to create presets. You can configure it to autoload a certain preset based on for example the FourCC or filename.

Thanks clsid!

With your help I was able to set-up presets for DVD and HD-DVD. I used resolution as my trigger, as I want DVD to be resized and sharpened, but not HD-DVD.
