Im testing the latest nightly of VLC media player v0.90 and im a little frustrated. I cant find any Scan-Pan function? Have somebody any ideea if there is same a function and how to activate?
P.S. Im asking here beacouse the VLC forums seems to be down.

The current version of VLC is (as usual) somewhat broken - you should be able to do this by setting video->crop to 4:3, but it just sets the AR and resizes instead. Quite useful. Maybe there's a cvs build with that fixed floating around somewhere.

The crop is broken in 0.8.6b for Direct3D output. Fixed in latest SVN.

I cant find a such option in the latest nightly buids. Im also using MPlayer and Im making pan-scan using the W and E keyboard butons.

Oh, you want actual pan & scan, as opposed to center crop? Then no, VLC doesn't support that. Well, it sort of retardedly does, there are hotkeys for crop from left, crop from right, and uncrop from either (though uncropping doesn't work for me even in ogl), so you can shrink it from one side and expand it from the other.... yeah, not really a solution.
