Using AutoMKV for VC1-rips...

Hi,

I want to use the AutoMKV for VC1 rips. I have installed all necessary software, but I looks like I'm not able to select 6 channel (only mono/stereo) audio when creating wmv-files (profile 2 pass wvc). Am I missing a codec or something? Cause I know the container should support multichannel audio. (I have WMP11 installed as well )

there are some problem with 5.1 source audio file

while i can encode in wma 5.1 i cannot mux wma audio file + wmv video file -> into final wmv (audio+video)

also since i use the audio file (wav) within avisynth script i cannot use (is broken in directshow) the WAVEFORMATPCMEX...

i wait some better news from developers :)

Yeah, because normally it should be possible. I have already seen many (HD) rips using VC1 and having 6 channel audio.

the better would be a command line muxer, like mkvmerge

in such way anyone can feed audio and video and then mux into wmv
