AC3 straight to AVI/DivX4 in DVD2AVI?

I've been using DVD2AVI to demux ac3, frameserve video to Avisynth, and then add the ac3 with vdub. But is there anyway in DVD2AVI to just do a Save Avi and have the ac3 sound included?

It would certainly seem useful but I couldn't find anything in the Guides about the Save Avi function.

BTW, I'm actually talking about high bit rate HDTV captures here so the extra space for ac3 is relatively less of an issue.

Currently I don't think DVD2AVI gives you this capability. However, it does allow you to do a 2 pass DivX4 though. I haven't tried but I hear it's fairly fast.

I think that Flask and Xmpeg can do that and you can look into theirs sources if you are developing something similar in DVD2AVI

For that matter you'll get much better quality using Gknot and it will mux the AC3 file right into your avi.
